I’m an experienced Leadership Development Coach and Consultant with over 30 years experience in in-house and consultancy roles in the retail, chemical and media sectors.
There is no simple or standard answer to what makes a good leader in today’s complex world, but my own experience tells me that strong vision, optimism, self-awareness and a curiosity for understanding others, a truly inclusive mindset, the ability to create a safe and developmental environment, resilience and change-readiness are some of the critical characteristics that good leaders share.
My style is to combine best practice research, learning and methodology with a commercial and pragmatic approach, providing development that leaders can apply and use with themselves, their teams and their businesses.
I have experience living and working in EMEA and APAC and have a passion for helping leaders understand different cultures and ways of working and build effective cross-cultural teams. I also love to help leaders working in English as a second language increase their confidence and impact.
When appropriate I leverage tools like Hogan, DiSC, TMSDI, the ESCI 360 and others to help leaders and teams increase their self-awareness and self-insight.
I am a mother of two teenage children, based just outside of London, working globally and flexibly. I take a values-driven approach to Exec Coaching and my own values are grounded in Achievement, Development and Adventure.
I have a BA in French, German and TEFL, a Postgraduate Diploma in HR and an MSc in Organizational Psychology. I am a Chartered Member of the CIPD, a certified Exec Coach through the AOEC and working towards my ICF Coaching accreditation.
